RULES OF HERMANDOORNS SHAREBLOCK  

  1. Domestic workers and cleaning of homes can be arranged with the farm management if required. Domestic workers brought to the farm by a shareholder must be housed on the shareholder's property.

  2. Place refuse in plastic dustbin bags in dustbins for easy disposal. Two separate dustbins must be utilized - one for glass and tin and the other for waste for burning

  3. No unaccompanied guests are allowed on the farm. A shareholder or shareholders representative must be always present on the farm. Shareholders will be held responsible for the behaviour of their guests.

  4. No domestic animals or pets may be brought to the farm.

  5. Braai-fires may not be left unattended.

  6. Loud music is not allowed.

  7. Respect the property of other shareholders.

  8. Respect the privacy of other shareholders including respecting roads which are marked as "private".

  9. Do not scare or chase wild animals.

  10. Feeding of animals is strictly prohibited.

  11. Avoid shining bright lights into the eyes of animals on night-drives

  12. Report sick or injured animals to the farm manager.

  13. Avoid the unnecessary killing of reptiles and crawling insects.

  14. Vehicles must keep to the roads. Driving in the veld is prohibited.

  15. Lighting of fires in the veldt is prohibited.

  16. Dung beetles have the right of way.

  17. No wood is to be picked up from the veld. Wood for braais may be purchased at the tuckshop.

  18. Do not waste water. Watering of private gardens is strictly prohibited. No Gardens allowe.

  19. Adhere to the speed limit at all times (25Km/h).

  20. Motorbikes, quad-bikes golf carts and go-carts are not allowed. The introduction of further ATV's apart from the two currently operated by individual shareholders is prohibited.

  21. Firearms may not be used unless approved by the directors, except in emergencies.

  22. Do not litter.

  23. Trees and plants may not be damaged.

  24. Be aware of veldfires and report any sign of fire to the farm manager immediately.

  25. Tapering with electrical substations and wiring is prohibited.

  26. Shareholders are responsible for managing the entrance and exit for their guests at all times.

  27. Under no circumstances is anyone allowed to tamper with the main gate. In the event that the gate is faulty, call the manager via the intercom.

  28. Caravans parked on the property must be in an enclosed garage and may not be used to house persons on the farm.

  29. Use of private generators is NOT permitted.

  30. Swimming in the Waterbuck Pan near the hide is forbidden together with playing in the dam.

  31. It is forbidden to tow anyone on any board or other implement on the farm roads.

  32. No drones, other than those of the farm, may be operated on the farm.

  33. The landing of helicopters on the farm is prohibited.

  34. Shareholder may only plant flora in their exclusive use area that is endemic to the region.

  35. Fishing is prohibited, other that at the dam near the old windmill.

  36. The change rooms at the pool must be utilized for dressing and undressing when having a swim. Even if the pool area seems quiet, shareholders may not dress and undress in the open or swim in their underwear.

  37. The maximum number of people staying at a site is restricted to 8 people. No camping on the site is permitted.

  38. All outside personnel involved in building operations on behalf of individual shareholders must be accommodated in the Single quarters by arrangement with farm management. They are not permitted to be accommodated in shareholders houses. The shareholder is responsible for all management and supervision aspects including transport on the farm.
